Art and Craft projects

We’re still collecting entries for the Credit Union Competition. The theme is “Happiness is . . . . . .” Entries must be landscape A3 or A4 and an entry form needs to be completed and attached to the back of the entry.

Entries are also being accepted until Thursday, 22nd October for the Kerry Council Road Safety Art Competition. Only 4th, 5th and 6th class pupils may enter. Entries must be on A4 landscape only.

Next up is Doodle 4 Google. The theme, on account of the commemoration of the centenary of the 1916 Easter Rising is “Ireland is . . . . .” and the closing date for this is Friday, 20th November. This is a real favourite with the pupils as they have a chance to have their artwork viewed by millions of people. So describe in art form what Ireland means to you. Entry forms will be sent around by Ms Ann or can be downloaded at www.google.ie
