General

We have had the busiest Term 3 ever! Children returned after Easter for May and June, with energy curiosity and fun in mind. They completed arduous tests, renovated our garden, raised tadpoles, made lots of creams and potions, painted and created, baked, explored local beaches, surfed, hiked and played. They worked hard, but always with a smile and willingness to learn and to help others. It has been a wonderful few months! The young gardeners planted potatoes,onions, coriander, pumpkin, peas, courgettes, calendula, borage, lettuce, scallions,mallow, nasturtium, sunflowers, thyme, barley, hedge tomato. Well done especially to Rang 1, 2 , 3 agus 5. We held many classes outdoors and children enjoyed using natural resources to create wonderful art. Take a look at our outdoor learning….

  • Gathering rocks for our tadpole aquariums in the stream nearby
  • We filled 7 aquariums with tadpoles. One for each class to observe the froglets as they developed
This nest was made by a few children during break-time. Isn’t it fabulous? Those Easter chicks were delighted to find a new home!
