Springing into February.

We continued our daily 10am class exercises and 8.45am assembly-line moves with a spring in our step. Dry weather also gave us the opportunity to get out and about, looking at new buds and daffodils. Art work reflected the new season and everyone was busy. Tag rugby, football and hurling coaching continues. Ms Gemma and Paul supervised the Basketball blitz in Mitchell’s. Well done to all the boys from Fifth and Sixth. Brave teachers embraced the kitchen on Shrove Tuesday! Children enjoyed lots of batter-whisking, pan-cake tossing and finger-licking. Valentine’s Day fell on Ash Wednesday. Thanks to Dr Dan for calling in and blessing us with the ashes. Aistear will be moving to Junior Infants soon. It is very popular with the infant children.

Fourth and Third Classes followed Operation Transformation exercises at 10am

Infants observed the nature all around us.

Here they are recording what the saw and heard.
